PRESS: Sberbank in talks to buy corporate messenger Dialog
MOSCOW, Dec 18 (PRIME) -- Russia’s Sberbank, the country’s biggest bank, is holding negotiations to purchase a stake, either a minority or a majority one, in a developer of messenger for corporate communications Dialog, business daily Vedomosti reported on Monday.
The developer’s CEO and co-owner Andrei Kuznetsov confirmed the talks, but said that there are other bidders, and it is not certain yet that Sberbank will get the stake.
OOO Dialog, which develops the messenger, was registered in May 2016 and is 51%-owned by Dmitry Zubov, a former deputy chairperson of multi-industry holding Sistema.
Dialog is a constructor-like service allowing companies to create an own protected messenger for internal communications for employees. The program offers all options of a traditional messenger, including texting and calling. It can be also paired with various business applications used by employees.
